Football Venue
Competition Venue:
Darwin Football Stadium was constructed in 2007, featuring two full sized international football pitches, flood lighting to the main pitches, change rooms, referee’s and medical rooms, kiosk, grandstand seating for 1000, change rooms, and lift access to the upper level. Located in the thick of the action at the Marrara Sports Complex, the stadium is directly across the road from Arafura Central and the main transit hub.
Training Venue:
Teams will be allocated training sessions prior to competition commencing. Teams may also consider training at alternate venues around Darwin including Bagot Park Oval and Malak Oval. Transport to Venue:
Athletes will be able to access free of charge transport to the venue via the Arafura Games Bus Service which will operate between accommodation houses and Games venues. The main stop at Arafura Central will best service Football.
