Cricket Venue

Competition Venue:

The Cricket competition will be held at two main venues: Marrara Cricket Ground and Gardens Oval.

Gardens Oval boasts an impressive spectator Grandstand and Club House and is across the road from the famous Mindil Beach Markets held every Thursday and Sunday evening.

Marrara Cricket Ground is located in the Marrara Sporting Complex with an abundance of shaded seating and a short walk to the hive of activity in Arafura Central.

Training Venue:

Teams will be allocated training sessions prior to competition commencing. Training at the Games venues will not be possible during the week; however the Coordinator may be able to assist you to source suitable alternate training venues if necessary. Transport to Venue:

Athletes will be able to access free of charge transport to the venue via the Arafura Games Bus Service which will operate between accommodation houses and Games venues.

Alternatively, Gardens Oval is a close distance to many City and Cullen Bay accommodation houses and teams may choose to walk to their Games.
